The members of ECARES are characterized by an excellent international reputation for their research in a wide range of subfields of economics and statistics. The outstanding research environment attracts many short and long term visitors and post-docs from all over the world, and first-class European and non-European doctoral students attend the ECARES doctoral school. Currently, ECARES has 36 members, 20 non-resident fellows, and about 45 doctoral students.
